Art therapy is a form of therapy where art-making is used
as a second language and as a tool for healing, transformation,
and growth to occur.
Throughout each art therapy session one's innate ability to creatively
expressive one's self is utilized, explored, and processed through the
art making process itself, as well as through conversations facilitated by the therapist.
Art therapy is an active form of therapy
where you are able to share your story, gain new insights, and find relief
within a safe and empowering environment.
No art experience is required.
Mindfulness, emotional regulation, improved relationships, an increased
sense of self and purpose, healthy coping skills, and more can be
gained through art therapy.
